My name is Joel Van Goor (yes, that's my real name). I've been tattooing for over three years, working at The Body Gallery in Sterling, Virginia. I am originally from Maryland and studied graphic design and fine art at Frederick Community College.

I completed my apprenticeship at the Body Gallery in Sterling, V.A. and am now working full time at the same location. I am fully licensed by Virginia's DPOR and am certified in CPR, first-aid, and bloodborne pathogens cross-contamination prevention.

When I'm not working at the shop, I spend much of my spare time performing nature studies (visiting zoos, museums, birdwatching, etc.), building beach cruiser bicycles, and playing video games (XBox 360 gamertag: ItCameFromGOOR)
